Corona causes all of us a lot of suffering and inconvenience. Loss of loved ones, mental health issues, quarantines, kids being home all day, contamination of yourself or those around you, overworked healthcare staff, loss of income, just to name a few. Fortunately, there are often people in the area who are willing to provide help. They are selflessly committed, but usually do not want to be thanked for it. “It’s normal that I do this for you..”. Nevertheless, a tangible token of appreciation is always welcome. A badge of a teaspoon is very suitable for that. A heavy silver plated badge for 1 euro or solid silver pins, pendants or studs for 50 euro each. Any positive result will be used for the projects of the Hague Peace Initiative.
For us, the teaspoon is a symbol of interconnectedness in diversity.

The Order of the Teaspoon is the elaboration of an idea by Amoz Oz, storyteller and peace activist.
The Hague Peace Initiative took up its idea in 2017 and realized it with the establishment of the Order of the Tea Spoon. The motto of The Order is onnected in diversity. Persons who are committed to this ideal, or who have committed themselves, are eligible for membership. Every citizen of the world may enroll others who fit this ideal into the Order by bestowing them with an Order badge. Since the founding of the Order on January 7, 2018, more than 15,000 badges have been distributed at home and abroad as of January 1, 2021.
